ERIE — A man is jailed on charges he fired shots at a homeowner who tried to keep the suspect from stealing a satellite television dish.

Daniel Garang, 19, is charged with attempted homicide in the Saturday night incident Saturday.

Police say Garang was trying to steal the dish mounted near the front door of a home when its owner came outside. Police say Garang fired two shots at the homeowner, who was not hit.
