UNIONTOWN — A man accused of creating a bogus MySpace page that included racist slurs and a threat to bring a gun to a high school will enter a probation program for first-time offenders in hopes of clearing his record.

If 21-year-old Kevin Burd, of Uniontown, completes the probation his arrest record for terroristic threats, identity theft and other charges will be expunged.

He does not have to plead guilty to enter the program and insists he is innocent, but is entering the probation program to put the criminal charges behind him.

Police said Burd used a 16-year-old Uniontown High School student's name and photo to create the bogus page in April 2007.
