HUNTINGDON — A man will spend up to seven years in prison for his eighth drunken driving conviction.

Ray Allen McCabe, 43, of Alexandria, was sentenced Monday to between three years and five months and seven years for his conviction of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and related crimes in Huntingdon County Court.

Authorities said McCabe became belligerent when he was stopped a year ago for a traffic violation. McCabe was driving with a DUI-related suspended license at the time of the arrest.
