HARRISBURG — Authorities say a 2-year-old Amish girl is dead after a forklift on which she was riding tipped over in south-central Pennsylvania.

The girl was killed Tuesday on her family's farm southeast of Lancaster.

State police say she was sitting on the lap of the 16-year-old boy who was driving the forklift, when the machine toppled over and pinned her.

Police would not identify the girl. They say the boy is a relative.
