HARRISBURG — More testimony is on tap for the second day of a preliminary hearing for former Pennsylvania House Speaker John Perzel and nine co-defendants charged in a legislative corruption probe.

The hearing is scheduled to continue today and could last the rest of the week before Dauphin County District Judge William Wenner. He must decide if there is sufficient evidence to send the case to county court for trial.

Perzel and nine others with ties to the House Republican caucus are charged as part of an investigation into the improper use of public resources for campaign purposes.

On the hearing's first day, a former GOP aide testified that the caucus used taxpayer-funded computer systems to track voters and make it easier to get them to the polls.
