PITTSBURGH — Police are still trying to determine the intent — if there was any — by whoever put a microwave oven containing a can of ravioli near the route of Sunday's Pittsburgh Marathon.

Police have yet to determine who put the device there, which briefly delayed and detoured the race because police believed the can may have been an explosive device. The microwave and its contents were detonated using a bomb-detonating robot.
