BENSALEM — A Philadelphia man is facing child endangerment charges after police say he left his 15-month-old son inside his running car while he gambled inside a casino for more than an hour.

Police say Donald Waige, 59, was arrested at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Bucks County.

According to authorities, the child was strapped into a car seat and crying when removed. Police say they went in the casino and found Waige, who said he left his sleeping son in the car and expected to gamble only 10 minutes.
