ALLISON PARK — Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a man and the wounding of a woman in an apparent domestic dispute.

Allegheny County police say they were called to the Hampton Township residence just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The county medical examiner's office says 53-year-old John Kohan died from a gunshot wound. Officials said an autopsy will be done, but preliminary indications pointed to suicide. The 57-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
