LANCASTER — The founder of national soft pretzel franchise Auntie Anne's is thankful she was wearing a helmet when she was in a motorcycle accident.

Anne Beiler, 61, suffered a concussion, a broken rib and a broken collarbone in Saturday's crash in Gap.

But she said it could have been much worse if she had not had a helmet on. Beiler is a big advocate for helmets and doesn't think she'd be alive if she hadn't been wearing one.
