PITTSBURGH — Police said a Pittsburgh man is dead after being shot following a relative's wedding reception.

Police say 26-year-old Gabriel Turner died early Sunday morning after being shot and walking several blocks before collapsing from the wound.

Family members said Turner left a relative's wedding reception in the Sheraden neighborhood and was on his way to his mother-in-law's house when he was shot. Police said Turner collapsed outside a senior citizen high rise after ringing a bell for help.

A family member said Turner was recently wed himself. He had been married in June and had six children.
