Good post, but you forgot the crack babies born to addicted women. Babies born with severe disabilities and dependencies. Lisa doesn't say what she would do if faced with the fact that her child would be born with a severe mental deficiency. Would she bring the child into this world when all it would know was pain for it's whole life, and it only had a projected few years to live anyway. When the projected care and hospital bills would be in the millions of dollars and she has another child at home who needs her attention. What if the doctor told her husband that both will not survive, should her husband choose the child - when there are other children at home that need their mother just as much?

Everything isn't cut and dried. Every abortion wouldn't stop a perfectly formed infant. That's why women have prenatal testing - but when those tests turn up some kind of nightmare, the right to choose cannot be taken away by some bystander who isn't going to be affected by the choice, and then will not be there to pay the price.
