PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police may refuse to do off-duty security details for St. Patrick's Day. Police union members are to vote Thursday on a possible work stoppage on March 12, the day of the parade. Union president Dan O'Hara said officers are being treated as “second-class” employees, citing the city's refusal to reinstate an officer acquitted of domestic violence and canceling days off for some officers.
