PITTSBURGH — Homicide detectives are investigating the death of an elderly man found with a plastic bag over his head and signs of head and facial injuries.

Police were called to a home in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The Allegheny county Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as 90-year-old Cuddy Briskin. An autopsy was scheduled Thursday.

Neighbors told reporters that Briskin owned Briskin Furs in Aspinwall and had lived in the home for more than half a century.
