Rain sets record
PHILADELPHIA — Saturday night’s storm brought record rainfall to Philadelphia and other areas of eastern and central Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service said the 3.11 inches of rain that inundated Philadelphia broke the old single-day record of 2.43 inches set in 1986.
