PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police have arrested a 17-year-old boy who allegedly robbed a PNC Park usher then stole his car after the man pulled over while having a heart attack on his way home from an extra-inning Pirates game. Police aren’t identifying the suspect because of his age.

But they say he approached the car driven by 58-year-old Michael Schacht, who was slumped over and in distress. Police said the boy pulled Schacht out of the car, stole his wallet, then drove off leaving Schacht on the ground. Police were puzzled by Schacht’s death since he had only a superficial head injury when he was found about 12:40 a.m. April 10. The suspect doesn’t qualify to be charged as an adult, and was to be taken to Shuman Juvenile Detention Facility.
