I would like to alert everyone to what I consider theft by deception.

Without saying the store's name, it is the one on the left at Moraine Point Plaza. On Saturday, we purchased something that had a different price on the shelf than it rang up for. There were also several clearance items that did not ring up for the price on the sticker.

The checkout woman gave me a hard time and pointed out to me what it came up on her register. The sticker was stuck right on the clearance products, but she still gave me a hard time. When I refused to budge, she called someone for a price check, but never apologized.

On Sunday, we went back and the same thing happened again on a different product. This time the price difference was $10.00! Again, a different checkout woman gave me a hard time. She called for a price check and said they can't find that price, so I walked back to the shelf and showed the guy where I got the item. Again, no apology!

Not only do they try to steal from you, they basically call you a liar as well.

If you aren't paying close attention when you get checked out, they get away with it - think of the money they would make if they did that to everyone.

How can this not be considered stealing?
