We all hear President Obama touting the line that he's going to create millions of "green jobs". Lets dig a bit deeper into this. He uses Spain as his model to outline his green plan. This all sounds great doesn't it? Now the bad news, a study done by Dr. Gabriel Calzada, an economics professor at Juan Carlos University in Madrid, concluded that every "green job" created with government money over the last eight years came at the cost of 2.2 regular jobs and only one in 10 of the newly created green jobs became a permanent job. So let's sum it up, we should expect a loss of at least 2.2 jobs on average, or about 9 jobs lost for every 4 created. Obama said in January, "Think of what's happening in countries like Spain, Germany and Japan, where they're making real investments in renwable energy", "they're surgin ahead of us, poised to take the lead in these new industries." Same old story, liberals are judged on their intentions, not on their results.
