EDINBORO — Edinboro University has tapped an administrator at a small private college in Boston to be its new president.

Julie Wollman will begin leading the public university in northwestern Pennsylvania on June 1. She has been vice president for academic affairs at Wheelock College for the past four years.

Wollman will succeed James Moran, who has been interim president of Edinboro since last June.

Edinboro is one of 14 state-owned universities.
