When we left the Butler area in the mid 70's there were not many businesses open on Sunday. The few that were were owned by folks of the Jewish Faith and their Sabbath was Saturday. Many of the old blue laws were still in effect. Moving to Az. was a shock in one respect. Sunday was just another business day. It was refreshing to know that somewhere like Butler they still respected the Sabbath day. out here most stores are open seven days a week and alcoholic beverages can be bought in almost all of them. That's a crime to me and they wonder why so much under age drinking is going on.
