Rodney Erickson

PITTSBURGH — Penn State University President Rodney Erickson will face a crowd of alumni, some of whom are unhappy about the school’s handling of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

Today’s town hall meeting is the first of three scheduled this week. The others are in the Philadelphia suburb of King of Prussia on Thursday and New York on Friday.

Erickson is attempting to repair the university’s image with alumni, faculty, staff and students, however, some Penn State supporters are unsure about the meetings.
