HARRISBURG — A new poll shows Gov. Tom Corbett’s approval rating has slumped in recent months.

The survey released Thursday by Quinnipiac University showed 41 percent of Pennsylvania voters approve of the job Corbett is doing — the same proportion that holds the opposite viewpoint.

Tim Malloy of Quinnipiac said the rating was Corbett’s lowest since June — showing that his “honeymoon” period as a new governor is over and possibly reflecting budget cuts.
