Five team records have been set recently by members of the Butler YMCA girls swimming team:

Brittany Vogel swam the senior 500-yard freestyle in 5:33.91, snapping the former record of 5:3438 set in 1996.

Courtney Shields swam the junior 100 freestyle in 56.47 seconds, breaking the former mark of 57.12 set in 1989.

Brianna Keelan swam the prep 200 freestyle in 2:08.74, breaking the former record of 2:08.84 set in 1992.

The prep 200 medley relay team of Jordan McElhaney, Nicolette Krause, Keelan and Morgan Morrison swam that event in 2:02.49, breaking the former mark of 2:03.05 set in 1991.

The prep 200 free relay team of Krause, Morrison, McElhaney and Keelan swam the event in 2:08.74, snapping the former record of 2:08.84 set in 1992.
