Perhaps the reason so many people applied for the teaching jobs is that in this economy, it's sometimes necessary to take a cut in pay just to receive better

benefits and the job stability. I'd love to have a lot of the perks teachers get. Yes their jobs are demanding and sometimes under appreciated but they also

can be rewarding and highly valued by people who know how difficult kids can be sometimes.
