9:45 p.m. Monday — Robert J. Miller Jr., 61, was arrested after he was caught allegedly huffing air duster during a call for a disturbance at his home on Alameda Road. He was arranged on misdemeanor charges of inhaling certain solvents and toxic substances and illegal possession of certain solvents and toxic substances.Miller was placed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond following arraignment. He also is being held on a probation violation.

8:38 a.m. Tuesday — An Indiana man was injured when his sport utility vehicle crashed and overturned on Route 38 just south of Hindman Road in Concord Township. Mitcheal L. Bishop, 23, of Sullivan suffered apparent minor injuries.Bishop was cited for driving without a license and disregarding traffic lanes.7:35 a.m. Tuesday — No one was injured when a car driven by a 17-year-old Evans City girl struck an SUV at Route 68 and Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township. Stephanie M. Ariemzo, 28, of Zelienople was the other driver.Both vehicles had to be towed. Police did not release the name of the girl.4:23 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Matthew D. Browne, 49, of Butler struck a Freightliner truck on Linwood Road in Summit Township. Jeremy D. Reddinger, 40, of Valencia was the other driver.No one was injured, but Browne's SUV had to be towed. He was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.6:32 a.m. Monday — Nikki L. Christy, 25, of Slippery Rock was injured when she lost control of her SUV, striking a ditch and an embankment on Boyers Road just west of Wick Road in Mercer Township.Police said Christy suffered minor injuries and her vehicle had to be towed disregarding traffic lanes. She was cited for disregarding traffic lanes and not wearing a seat belt.Monday — A cat was possibly shot with a BB or pellet gun at a Causer Lane home in Clay Township. Police released no other information about the case, which is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.4:30 p.m. Sunday — Randy P. Kellner, 58, of Baden, Beaver County was injured when he wrecked the motorcycle he was driving on Route 68 just south of Wind Walker Lane in Oakland Township. Police said he fell off the cycle after it fell onto its side.Kellner, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries. Police cited him for a driver's license violation.Sunday — A purse and wallet were reported stolen from a 27-year-old woman's unlocked car on Merry Lane in Center Township. The property was taken between 4 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.7:21 p.m. Sept. 18 — A pickup truck driven by John A. Jordan, 47, of Slippery Rock struck a guardrail on Route 488 just west of Kelly Road in Muddy Creek Township.9:05 p.m. Sept. 18 — Matthew R. Reich, 25, of Butler was allegedly found with marijuana and other drug contraband following a traffic stop at Mercer Road and Route 8 in Center Township. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving without headlights.5:36 p.m. Sept. 18 — Kyle Q. Mauthe, 31, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his SUV struck a guardrail on Route 38 just north of Rider Road in Concord Township. He suffered an apparent minor injury.9:42 a.m. Sept. 18 — A 75-year-old Portersville man lost control of his pickup after suffering an unknown medical emergency and traveled off Interstate 79 south just north of East Lancaster Road in Lancaster Township. The truck that Walter Vangenewitt was driving struck a plastic gas line marker and a guardrail before ending up against a steel post.Vangenewitt was taken to UPMC Passavant hospital in Cranberry Township, but it was not immediately known if he was injured in the crash.5:13 p.m. Sept. 17 — David S. Haines, 59, of Butler was injured when he lost control of his pickup and struck an embankment on Valencia Road near Glade Run Road in Forward Township. The truck ended on its roof.Haines suffered an apparent minor injury. He was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
