Towel waving costs Owens $10,000
IRVING, Texas — Wide receiver Terrell Owens was fined $10,000 on Thursday for violating NFL uniform and equipment rules.
Sunday night at Philadelphia, Owens waved a personalized towel on the sideline that was picked up by television cameras.
Owens has said the league just doesn't know how to relax and sometimes takes the fun out of the game.
