SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock Sliders picked up a 4-1 decision over the Washington Wild Things on Sunday before dropping the nightcap 6-0 in Frontier League play at Jack Critchfield Park.

Zac Cline led the way for Slippery Rock (10-27), finishing the game with 10 strikeouts to improve his record to 4-2.
Jon Dandridge's two-run double in the third inning gave the Sliders, who committed four errors in the contest, a three-run cushion that would stand the rest of the way.
The Wild Things (21-16), who were limited to three hits in the first game, battled back with seven in the second contest and jumped on Slippery Rock starter Kory Bucklew early.
