Herb, I looked up their website too, and there are paid staff that work there, also the cost of the building, supplies, etc. It is funded now upon donations, but even if it all was volunteers and totally non-profit, this building used to house a business that paid taxes, now it houses a non profit which doesn't. It still costs the taxpayer money.

Lorie - In a previous post you took out your dictionary and posted exactly what it said under socialism. Now you ask why you shouldn't use a service that your tax dollars paid for! Go get your dictionary again and reread the description of a socialist while looking in the mirror.

Lizzie - I believe in National Health Care for reasons that I posted before. That's why the insurance company fat cats are spending $7,000,000/wk - yes, 7 million PER WEEK to kill the legislation. If you have worked for companies that did not give you health care, I don't understand why you are against it. So if something major happens to you - or Lorie - what do you do? Go to the hospital and then end up in bankruptcy?? Please explain to me how you can support the current system that forces you to do this because it completely evades me.
