Ovechkin to lead Russia at worlds
GELSENKIRCHEN, Germany — Alex Ovechkin's offseason will have to wait another three weeks as the NHL superstar hopes to lead Russia to its third straight world championship title.
Ovechkin became available for the worlds when his Washington Capitals lost to the Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
