MIDDLESEX TWP - The Glade Run Access Area will be temporarily closed to public use beginning Monday for paving, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission announced Thursday.

Weather permitting, the access should be closed for a few days.

Located on Route 228 two miles east of the intersection with Route 8, the access area provides public boating and fishing access to Glade Run Lake.

Bob Lorantas, warmwater unit leader with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, will speak on muskie management at the June meeting of the Three Rivers Chapter of Muskies Inc.The commission is evaluating its muskie management program and Lorantas will discuss potential changes.The meeting, to be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the North Side Sportsman's Club in Warrendale, is open to the public.This spring, muskie anglers have been invited to participate in a survey. Survey forms can be downloaded fromwww.fish.state.pa.us, or can be requested by writing to Muskie Survey, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, 450 Robinson Lane, Bellefonte, PA 16823.Directions to the North Side Sportsman's Club are available from the Three Rivers Chapter website at:www.muskiesinc.com/chapters/16/clubinfo.htm.
