Frye

Cherie Lynn Frye, 69, of Butler, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones, from a short battle with breast cancer.

She was born May 14, 1957, the oldest daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Snyder) Achesinski.

Before her passing, she was a homemaker, who always thought of and took care of others. She had an amazing talent for flower arranging and decor and loved taking on new project ideas in the home with her brother, David.

She is survived by her daughter, Cari (David) Feltisky; her two beloved grandsons, Christian and Ryan Felitsky; Russ Hill, her significant other; Travis Achesinski, her nephew, with whom she lived; three brothers, David, Rob and Ray Achesinski; two sisters, Lori (Sam) Lasky and Raylene Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

FRYE — All services for Cherie Lynn Frye, who died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, will be private per family wishes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
