Why are there more traffic signals than lanes on the new bridge? Why do we need 2 sets of lights for every 1 lane of traffic? I think in every instance and every lane, on either side of the bridge, there are 2 sets of lights for every 1 lane. What a waste!

The bridge is very nice though. It took a long time to get it, but it was worth the wait - except for the light issue, that is.
