The Butler Education Association will host a food drive benefiting the Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program during the Butler Golden Tornado football game Friday night, Sept. 25.

Members of the association will tailgate in the parking lots of the Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School prior to the game, where they will cook hot dogs and hamburgers. The members will then head to the entrance around 5:30 p.m. to collect food or monetary donations.

The most needed donations, according to the association, are Hormel Compleats, Hamburger Helper, microwave cups, Velveeta Cups, Ramen and individual meal items.
