Mary K. Owens, 84, of Mars died Monday afternoon at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

Born in Johnstown, Aug. 11, 1922, she was the daughter of Herbert and Lucinda Luther Hall.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.

Surviving are her husband, Frank G. Owens, whom she married July 22, 1945; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Sandy) Fairman of Jefferson Hills, Barbara Yzquierdo of Freedom and Arlene Geibel of New Brighton; five sons, Martin Owens of Indianapolis, Ind., Larry Owens of Avonmore, Michael Owens of Mars, Steven Owens of Boyers and Gary Owens of Renfrew; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A brother preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating. (Everyone is to meet at the church.)
