Merle T. Kennedy, 91, died Thursday in Sun City, Ariz.

Born in Prospect, he was the son of Lyman P. and Ella T. Kennedy.

He had been employed in Butler by John Tack & Sons and later at Ferroslag in Chicago.

Mr. Kennedy served in the Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Tucci Kennedy; a daughter, Deborah Ferris of Michigan; a granddaughter; and a grandson. A sister, Mrs. Ruth Dick of Prospect; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

<B>KENNEDY </B>— Private memorial services for Merle T. Kennedy, who died Thursday, May 10, 2007, will be held at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler.
