A school van driver was injured and multiple students required evaluation following a three-vehicle crash Monday, Sept. 21, in Forward Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch reports.

The crash was reported at 10:38 a.m. near the intersection of Evans City Road and Oak Drive. First responders reported at least two vehicles were on the road about 100 yards apart.

At least two students were reported to need evaluation for injury. The driver of the school van complained of a shoulder injury, according to dispatch recordings.

State police were requested for traffic control after the road was closed. The road was reopened at about 11:40 a.m.
