For every one you post that won awards and pays more, i will post 2 that won awards and pay less. Which is the point i was making, that seems to have completely escaped you. There really isn't any correlation between teacher pay and teacher quality.

But you will never accept that fact, so no point in discussing it with you.

Edward, you are missing an important component in your argument. You are trying to apply capitalist principles to a collectivist activity. Unions and collective bargaining are not capitalist, they are actually more socialist. You contend that the rewards are reaped by the most talented. I agree. Now, please explain to me how we reward the most talented of the teachers when the unions will not allow that.
