Dave, I hope you read my last post about teacher pay. Thomas Jefferson, in Fairfax County, Virginia, is number one on the list that you posted and has a very high average teacher salary. The four schools in western Pennsylvania who were silver medal winners on the list all have much higher than average teacher salaries.
