Dorothy Catherine Rasely Hall, 82, formerly of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, died early Wednesday at Clarion Hospital after an illness.

Born Sept. 9, 1924, in Mount Chestnut, she was the daughter of Clair and Bessie Klinger Rasely.

She was a member of the St. Petersburg United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hall was retired from the United of Ohio telephone company.

She is survived by a son, William G. Ruffing of Spring Church; three stepchildren; a granddaughter; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two brothers, Clyde Rasely of Colorado and G. Lynn Rasely of Renfrew; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Ruffing, who died in 1974, and her second husband, Parmly "Bud" Hall, who died in 2000. She also was preceded in death by a stepmother and six brothers.
