Pesci

Catherine Lucille Schad Pesci, 92, of Freeport died at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.

Born in Saxonburg, Aug. 11, 1914, she was the daughter of Christopher and Rachael Hochuly Schad.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeport.

Mrs. Pesci enjoyed sewing, baking and playing the piano.

She was involved for many years with the Freeport Evening Club and instrumental in the creation of the Well Baby Club of Freeport. She also worked for the election board for many years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Donnelly of Philadelphia and Carol Ann (William) Hess of Lower Burrell; four sons, Joseph L. (Karen) Pesci of Laguna Beach, Calif., William A. (Marilyn) Pesci of Indianapolis, Ind., and Timothy L. (Judith) and James D. Pesci, all of Freeport Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Joseph G. Pesci, who died in 1976. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, William, John and Edward Schad; and a sister, Geraldine Freehling.

<B>PESCI </B>— Friends of Catherine Lucille Schad Pesci, who died Thursday, May 24, 2007, were received Monday at the <B>REDMOND FUNERAL HOME</B>, Freeport. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeport, with the Rev. James Neal officiating.
