PITTSBURGH — Police today are seeking a court order to remove four pit bulls from a Pittsburgh home after the dogs attacked and injured two men.

Pittsburgh Police Lt. Reyne Kacsuta says it is the second time in a month the dogs have attacked people walking by. Police declined to identify the owner, but said she refuses to hand the dogs over to authorities.

Police say the dogs ran off a porch where they were being fed Monday evening and attacked a man walking across the street, biting his legs. Police say another man who tried to pull the dogs away was bitten in the arm.

Kacsuta says investigators will press criminal charges against the owner and seek a court order to remove the dogs from her home.
