Armstrong

Cass,

Hulu and Netflix made my subscription to Armstrong's cable service practically obsolete. Plus, it's in HD for no extra charge.

Unfortunately, I still have to receive my internet service through Armstrong, and that's where I think they're really gouging people. I'm paying about $40 a month now for their mid-level bandwidth, and I'm sure that price will rise again before the summer. I wouldn't mind paying that price if Armstrong weren't regulating their bandwidth like soup during the Great Depression. Their lines have plenty of capability to maintain higher access speeds, but due to the lack of competition they're pretending sub-standard bandwidth is worth a premium cost. You don't find this sort of exploitation in communities with multiple cable providers.

I might be more understanding if I didn't have to constantly see those cheesy Armstrong ads claiming how great their business is for the community. They're keeping us in the internet dark ages!
