The 50th Anniversary Celebration Choir of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will rehearse at 6:30 today and 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Vagabond Center, 138 Whitestown Road. The anniversary church service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday followed by a catered lunch and program at noon at the Vagabond Center.

GLADE RUN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Boy Scout Troop 58 will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia. Proceeds will benefit a Troop 58 program for holiday gifts for the less fortunate.

From 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday the youth group will host a shoebox-packing party to benefit Operation Christmas Child. It will feature a pizza dinner, activities for children and shoebox packing. The youths are collecting the items for the shoebox party in the fellowship hall and in the narthex. The shoeboxes will be dedicated Nov. 15.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will host GLOW from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday. GLOW is a youth group for children through age 15.

The confirmation class will meet at 9 a.m. Sunday.
