Autopsy set on body found by kayaker
PITTSBURGH — An autopsy has been scheduled on the badly decomposed body of a man found by a kayaker.
Authorities say the body was found in the Monongahela River about 4 p.m. Thursday between the 10th Street and Birmingham bridges, east of downtown.
The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office says it has yet to identify the body, and that an autopsy was scheduled for today.
