Joyce

Joyce, I couldn't agree more. I too am very sorry about Haiti, however we have our own problems here. Why does our money always go to help other countries instead of our own people? As if things are just perfect here. I say you owe a responsiblity to yourself first then to others. If our leadership can't understand that then they have no business leading us. I am completely disgusted with the way our nation is being run right now. We can't even help ourselves because of all the greed and red tape.Jobs are dwindling fast. The stimulus package is a crock! They took our money and stuck it to us again. How depressing. But to reiderate, I do feel sorry for Haiti and its population but where are the fund raisers for our citizens? who helped our citizens in New orleans or locally inEtna when people lost everything. Fema thumbed their nose at them, yet our government and people go out of their way for Haiti among others. It doesn't make sense to me. Its like spending all of your time at a club, fixing it up and working for free when your own home is falling apart and in shambles, its also like people who constantly correct other peoples children when they should be worrying about their own who act like brats. Typical do as I say not as I do ideology.Everyone has their noses so far in other peoples business they don't take care of their own and then they need bailed out.Should we help Haiti? Yes, of course but we should also not turn our backs on our own citizens which is what this country does best. face it folks this country is in big time trouble right now. Our energy and money should be focused on our problems and the crooks we have in our government. They need to be removed and laws put in place to get rid of the Career positions. Joe.
