But I seem to remember food and clothing drives, telethons and millions of dollars - even if given by a total moron to anyone who "said" they lived there - only to find they sent money to prisoners from California.. but I digress. Comparing the flooding in Etna to 200,000 dead bodies laying the street is ridiculous. And I sympathize with your friends, but if you live in a flood zone and you don't have flood insurance, which is relatively cheap and available, then I guess you are SOL.
