Calorie Info
I think that requiring calorie information is appropriate for larger chain restaurants, but less so for smaller, local eateries. While it's easy for franchises with standardized menus and packagaing to evaluate calorie levels and post it, individual restaurants typically lack the capacity and cash to implement such a program.
Moreover, it's almost always chain restaurants that work to trick the public with "healthy" options. For example, McDonald's has been known to add gratuitous sugar to their bread and salads. The menus at local businesses are usually navigated with basic common sense.
