Biffaretti

Irene Biffaretti, 91, formerly of Roosevelt Boulevard, where she lived with her daughter, died Thursday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born in Butler, March 6, 1916, she was the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Prokop Kovach.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by a daughter, Julianna Morabito of Butler; a brother, Peter Kovach of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Ann McCall of Butler and Mrs. Margaret Carbone of Maryland; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Biffaretti, who died Sept. 27, 1987; a son; two brothers, and a sister.

<B>BIFFARETTI</B> — There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Irene Biffaretti, who died Thursday, May 24, 2007, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at the St. Michael Cemetery.Arrangements are by the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, and information also is available at www.martinth.net.
