Oktoberfest returns to Ellwood City for its 16th year
As the leaves start to change color, the borough of Ellwood City is preparing for its 16th annual Oktoberfest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Ewing Park, Washington Ave., Ellwood City, PA 16117.
The event will feature craft beer, live music, local food options, a keg toss and Chinese auction among other activities. The Wrangler Band will provide music throughout the day. Food options will include pretzels, pepperoni puffs, haluski, beer cheese, sauerkraut and kielbasi, a variety of sliders including pulled pork, fish, sausage and meatball, hot dogs and french fries.
Merchandise donated for the event will be part of a silent auction, and there will be more than 100 buckets in the annual Bucket Raffle. The buckets will include beers, beer merchandise and metal buckets for cooling beverages.
Advance tickets are $35, or $40 at the door, and can be purchased through any member of the Wolves or Rotary Clubs, at Pete’s Uptown and Ellwood City Candy Company.
