With the building once located at 123 S. Main St. in Butler demolished, crews began work Monday, Sept. 14, to clean up the property.
The building was demolished Thursday and Friday due to atmospheric and safety concerns, Butler Mayor Bob Dandoy said.
Dandoy said after the property is cleaned, it will be transferred to the land bank and the bank board will be responsible for determining what’s next for the property.
