Cecelia Ann Aimino, 77, of Carlisle, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer. She spent her final days surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Cecelia’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. For more than 50 years, she was a parishioner of Holy Sepulcher Church in Glade Mills, Pa., and St. Patrick Church in Carlisle. A graduate of Duquesne University’s nursing program, Cecelia worked at several hospitals and provider offices in the Pittsburgh area.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Hoffman Funeral Home, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 18, at St. Patrick’s Shrine Church, 152 E. Pomfret St., Carlisle.

A private interment will be held in the future at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Gibsonia.
